Today I’ve been inspired by C. G. Jung. As a result, I wrote something based on his thoughts:
******************
C. G. Jung said:
“One doesn’t become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious.”
My version based on that:
One doesn’t become enlightened by imagining other people to see into the darkness inside, but by making the darkness visible and allowing other people to enlighten that darkness.
An additional note: You don’t necessarily need a psychotherapist for enlightening the darkness. Ordinary people can do that too.
(This just occured to my mind this morning. Maybe I want to refine that later.)
******************
Another one:
C. G. Jung said:
“But in reality God is not an opinion. God is a psychological fact, that happens to people.”
My version based on that:
God is not any kind of a fact. An idea of God creates an emotion, a variation of being loved, that has a particular purpose. It serves as a means for healing a person’s feeling of loneliness, when other people can’t heal that feeling of loneliness for that person, for some reason.
An additional note: You don’t necessarily need a psychotherapist for healing the feeling of loneliness. Ordinary people can do that too.
(Maybe I want to refine that one later too.)
*****************
One more:
C. G. Jung said:
“I am not what happened to me. I am what I choose to become.”
My version based on that:
For a long time, I was what happened to me. That’s why, a long time ago, I chose to become someone else. Today I’ve not been, what happened to me, for a long time.
An additional note: I needed someone for choosing, what I will become.
(I’m not sure, if I need to refine that one later at all…)
